Extractor help

Hi,

So after receiving more interest in my weekend car detailing business I need to upgrade my interior detail regime. Right now I vac, treat stains, use a LGCM (which I hate!) and then use a stain guard on the carpets/upholstery.

I've noticed a lot of people using steamers for a variety of uses (I will be getting one) and higher end heated extractors.

My question is can I use a two-in-one machine like the Vapor Clean Gaia?

-Has anyone used this?

-Can the steam portion be used independently from the extractor?

-Is steam extraction better that hot water?

-Any other alternatives to this product?

Thank you in advanced!!

I've always used a hot water extractor. I've seen the steamers but it was never worth the price to me to change over. If you've never used an extractor, you will surely be impressed (I still am every day I use it). Unless someone posts up their favor for steamers and convinces me to change, I'll say you'll be fine with just that.

It is expensive but you do get two-in-one. A big incentive for me is having to carry around less stuff.

Does anyone know how this unit compares to the Desiderio?

Again, any help/input is appreciated.

I've had three purchases from Vapor Clean, and a couple warranty issues.

Can not recommend this company.

Extractors are mandatory, in my opinion. Steamers are helpful but not required.
