Extractor for Mobile Detailing - Mytee Lite II

I am looking to buy an extractor for my growing mobile detailing business :spot . I have done a fair amount of searching and reading on old posts, and it looks like the Mytee Lite II is ideal for me. I just wanted to make sure that a) you can plug this extractor into a residential garage outlet w/o power problems and b) is it small enough to fit in the backseat of a sedan? I use my Jetta as my detailing vehicle and the trunk is full of products/buckets/vac, so would it be easy to bring it in and out of the backseat?

I am not set on the Mytee Lite II, so please post if you know of another good extractor that fits my needs. Thanks!

Also, does anyone have any pics of their extractor in-use or before/after pics?

I think that getting a Mytee is a great idea. If you have just a descent amount of business it will pay for it's self in no time. I have looked into Mytees and plan on buying one when or right before I move out of state. I plan on going with the Mytee HP60. Little bit more power, the solution/recovery tank holds a little bit more there for you can work a little longer, and by the looks of it this might be a better fit for the back of a sedan. Just my 0.02. Either way you will be happy with Mytee I am sure of it.

I have never used a mytee lite but my mytee 1007 rocks!! It is huge and cost $1500 and is too big for a mobile operator but it does kick arse!

I just purchased a Mytee Lite II about 2 months ago. I love it. It was the best purchase I have made since I bought my Cyclo two years ago. It is powerful, reasonable quiet, and the suciton and pump psi are great for the money. The machine is very portable and does not weigh too much, empty that is.

As far as running it off of household electric, you are fine, as long as the outlet is a GFI or has atleast a 12 amp breaker. My generator runs it fine and that is 20amp/3000 watts/4400 surge wattts. I have blew a few breakers in older homes that I have worked at. If that occurs, than I just use the generator.

The only two things that I modified to the machine are....

1. Dont put the handle on. Too big and bulky for mobile use IMO.

2. I used more velcro straps around the vac hose and chemical hose. I also used a small velcro strap around the quick connects where the nozzle attaches.

Go for the purchase. It is well worth it.
