Extra washer with PC???

well i just got my PC/Sonus kit along with the Klasse kit. i can't wait to try it out but its raining here. anyways, when i opened my PC, i noticed a washer. what is it for? it does not look like metal but its thick and its dark grey in color.

I got one too I think it is to space the backing plate out so the wrench will go in.

You are correct, use it between the backing plate and PC.
