Hey I am getting ready to finish my 25 x 32 x 16 high Steelmaster building. Any thoughtd on cabinets , shelves, storage etc. No reasonable idea refused!!!1

Go to Home Depot and look around.

I suggest getting few closet types cabinets, work benches, plenty of outlets. Maybe a heavy metal table to mount a vice to and for welding and stuff.

Install a few 220VAC outlets and maybe a 440 VAc power drops as well for future expansion.

A sink and washing machine are great too.

Install plenty of lights.

So as many of you know, I am going to try and make some money detailing. I had my first real job today an a White 2009 Mercedes C300. The job was an exterior detail only, and the paint was in pretty good shape. The owner had the car washed this morning before I started, so the wash process was fairly simple with ONR and the 2BM method.

I apologize in advance for no dramatic before and after pictures or 50/50's, as the defects were very difficult to capture on the white paint, but trust me they were there.

Process:
Wash with ONR via 2BM
Spray down painted surfaces with P21S TAW
Wheels cleaned with ONR at QD strength
Exhaust tips polished with P21S polishing Soap

Paint:
Clay with BF Poly Clay and BF Clay Lube
BF Clay Cleaner and Extender (this stuff really works wonders)
M105 with LC H2O Cayan pad
IPA wipe down
M205 with LC Flat black pad

Wash again with ONR and dry with WW MF.

Rubber trim treated with 1Z einszett Rubber Care Stick "Gummi Pflege"

LSP:
Collinite 845IW

All in all, the detail took about 5 1/2 hours. The customer was thrilled and will be sending referrals my way.

Thanks for looking!

Looks very nice Barry :wizard:
Thanks for the kind words Flash

Looks great! Glad to see you found some work.
Thanks Luke. It's not a full time gig, but it should help with some of the bills.
Great job there Barry, I see more work coming you way!:wizard:
Thanks Angelo.
I just received my business cards. I will get them out to you tomorrow.

Thanks again for your support:thumbup:
Barry,
Very nice job there! :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
Thanks Harry!

I appreciate the input!

Nice work Barry! I haven't quite figured out the formula for the "dusting" of M105. I can polish an entire vehicle and rarely see a spec of dust. I'll do another car, the next day, same tools, pads, polish, technique and the dust is flyin'!!!:out: I just continue to mist the pads and change them frequently and it works.

The car looks great!

Thanks Bill,
I think I will try misting the pad the next time I break out the 105.

Thanks Dan,

I apreciate the inspirational words. I used the Griots Garage 6" RO. It's got quite a lot of power.
