Explanation plz!

I have always wondered why when I see a car ad on TV or in a magazine, there's usually an actual license plate on the rear of the car, but it's painted to blend in. Is there some sort of rule behind this? Why not just put on a factory vanity plate?

BTW, everyone have a great holiday. :D

Excellent question, I have always wondered that too. Anyone here from the marketing or advertising business that could fill us in?

basically "IT LOOKS BETTER"

if you look closely alot of times you will notice the windows are usually all tinted 20% or darker; and the antenna is usually shortened or taken off completely

Are you sure it isn't some sort of regulation that the cars need to be registered in some way?

I don't see any reason for them to be registered just to be in a commercial.

I think LouisanaJeeper is on the money here

:hm

Did you ever notice that in just about every car commercial, the roads they are driving on are always wet, yet the cars remain spotless? We need to get that technology that enables that, dammit! :D
