Expiration Date on Waxes and Polishes

Greetings,

I was cleaning out the garage when I found a plastic box with a few of my former waxes and polish. These items listed below have been in the garage for year, somewhere near 15 to 17 years. So here is the question: Can I use any of these items, especially the carnauba wax? My thinking is that over time, the product has gotten more concentrated. What better than more pure concentrated carnauba wax?

Do these items have expiration dates?

1.) Mothers California Gold Natural Formula Pure Carnuba Wax

2.) Meguiar's Car Cleaner / Wax

3.) Liquid Crystal (brand new...never opened)

All inputs, recommendations, suggestions, and otherwise comments welcome. Just keep the joke(s) to a moderate level.

Many mfgr's suggest a 5 year max shelf life on their products. Doesn't mean that they aren't possibly salvageable, but the chemicals might have broken down or changed in some unwanted way.

I don't think it would be more concentrated. Maybe separated and unable to re-combine, but that doesn't mean that skimming off the top stuff and using the bottom stuff would be better.

A lot of my stuff is that old (or even older) and hardy any of it ever goes bad. I think it was Superior Fine who once used some Meguair's stuff from the 1960s and had it work OK.

You probably don't leave it lying around the garage in half-used containers though.

You can always give them a try and see, but they don't sound like hard to replace products. Some old $4 bottles of wax. Why not just play it safe and buy a new bottle of cleaner/wax and cali gold carnauba?
