Exotic Car Shootout Video (big, fun 31MB file)

The amazing thing about that is the HP difference between the winner and the 3rd place car. Seems like it should be a lot further behind. 3rd place car is also a 15 plus year old design!

Amazing isn't it. That is one of my favorite videos.

It is a shame the type R was never offered in the States.

Well in the straight aways the lamborghini had a much better advantage. The NSX just seemed to have better handling around the s curves.

Well yeah, I could see that much. It's just a good testament that brute power will only get you so far when you're simply a pig. It's all about the balance. Imagine the NSX with 70 or so more HP and you have yourself a group of newer high tech cars that watch the tail lights of "old tech."

I think its a bit unfair not to use a Porsche GT3 as well which is more in line with the Lambo and Ferrari prices but it was still competitive.

I would love to drive on that track...but with spacing between each car! I cannot believe how close some of those drivers would get to the other cars, LOL.

I'm surprised by how well the NSX did. At least, until it began to overheat. ;)

At least we did not miss anything with the Ford GT not being included. Check out the Car & Driver for June - the Ford has all sorts of quality problems.

Yup those video are dope. I have few of those races in DVD. Man, that NSX-R done pretty good, I must say. Lambo is v12? and NSX is V6. The lambo Mur has 400ish hp and NSX-R around 300ish. Overall, you gotta love that M3 CLS :xyxthumbs

The Lambo Murcielago has more than 550 hp and the smaller lambo has atleast 500 hp. Im surprised how well the NSX did for having only 300 hp. It also depends on how well the driver drives and how familiar they are with the cars. If you switch them around, the outcome of the race could be totally different. It really is a cool video. I'll take any of those cars in a heart beat.

WOW! Did you see that Murcielago pulling on everybody. That car just WALKED that NSX.

Ehh, it took it until the last lap to pass a car with half the HP. The Lambo is a real winner.

Did you mean GT2?..which is closer in price to Lamborghini and Ferrari than GT3 or 911 Turbo ( with the Turbo apr.15-20 more )
