ExcelDetail OK?

I've tried to place an international order over the last 2 weeks and have not been successful.



I've emailed my order 6 times and, apart from 2 automated replies, have had no human response to my emails.



Is ExcelDetail still trading? On holidays? Dead? :nixweiss
 
I used the one his website states international customers should use: internationalsales@exceldetail.com

BTW, I looked at the Detailing Forum and Excel Detail is a sponsor, so I'll try that if the other email doesn't work.

if you ordered from patrick, he's prompt and will reply ASAP. if he doesn't, he must have not received it, etc. i would call him...

This is my opinion as well. Patrick has always been up front with every deal that I have had with his company.
 
patrick does offer an autopian discount (10%), call and talk to him and he'll gladly apply it over the phone...

You're right about Patricks' promptness...when he finally got my email, he emailed me four times in the next twelve hours with apologies and explaining the problem before I could even reply to the first!



That's what I call great service...unlike Autogeek. :hairpull :grrr



Apparantly he had a email-redirection problem with overseas emails...hope he didn't miss any sales as a result...great guy.

I was thinking I asked him in an e-mail and he said no. Guess I will ask again at my next order.
 
Not sure if he technically offers an Autopia discount anymore.



After I specifically asked when I received the total (even though I stated on my order I was an Autopian), Patrick knocked 10% off the non-kit items.



Maybe he doesn't do it automatically anymore since he's no longer a forum sponsor. :nixweiss



I guess it's not a manditory requirement..his prices are pretty cheap compared to others.

Well, he's back in the game now that he's fixed his email problem.



I guess, like you, many gave up and he was never alerted to the email problem. He probably just wondered why his international orders had dropped to zero. :nervous:



I'm just a nag. :laugh:



My order was shipped on Friday so I should get it mid next week.
 
like i've mentioned before, if he has received your order you will get it as soon as humanly possible. if you don't get a response in let's say over a day, chances are he didn't receive it or has problems with his e-mails. patrick has always done his customer's right...
