EX topped w/Clearkote Carnauba after 3wks

I put EX on my Yukon about 3 weeks and decided to top it with CMW to see how EX would handle being topped with a liquid wax.

I applied 2x EX -waiting 24hr between coats, then applied a coat of Clearkote Carnauba thinned with QD and applied by hand gently so hopefully the PD don't strip the EX.

I'll see how it does in a few more weeks to see if the CMW weakened the EX any.

Here are some pictures after it rained and I cleaned it up with S&W and QS:

Looks great! Carnauba Moose seems to hold it's appearance pretty well, and today I saw that Miata I had detailed a couple weeks ago (using Vanilla Moose and 2 coats of EX) and it looked terrific.

I haven't tried the EX/CMW combo yet, but from the looks of your truck, I'll be trying it soon.

BTW, this is Vanilla Moose and Carnauba Moose at 11 days and washed twice when I took this pic:

I really like the EX/CMW combo so far I hope it holds up. With my Yukon I let the 2 coats cure, but a friend of mine is bring his car over this week and I'm going to try applying the CMW after the EX and see how that does.
