Does that combo bead or sheet? I am getting water spots due to rain from my current wax beading. I want an lsp/paste combo that sheets.

Good luck with that. I am beginning to believe there's not such a beast. The closest thing I've ever found to a product that actually seems like it was designed to sheet (or that seemed to sheet water) was a synthetic sealant.
Beading is just a characteristic of high surface tension (or so I've ben led to believe). Anything with a slick/smooth surface (like a polished and waxed panel on a vehicle) is going to bead somewhat. In a heavy downpour, maybe the beading won't be as noticeable, but in light summer showers that seem to be prevalent here, the beading can be pretty intense. Couple that with it getting baked on by the sun and you can have problems.

Exactly...waxes absorb the water and close up in a sense creating that water beading, which as you mentioned get one of those summer sun showers and watch the water bead and then dry off as small dust/pollen rings on your car. While sealants are hydrophobic (a Chemistry term for having little or no affinity for water), which causes the sheeting action. Although I think in light shower the water may not entirely sheet off.
