EX-P, S100: 2003 Yellow Mustang Cobra (dialup warning)

Scott at http://www.specialtymotoring.com sent me a bottle of Poorboy's EX-P to try out. Since I am a detailer while I attend college, I am always trying new combos to achieve the best look in my paint. My previous combo was Clearkote Vanilla Moose and Carnauba Moose wax. This is one of my favorite combos to use on my customers' cars because it brings out the wettest look I have ever seen in a combo. I am VERY impressed with EX-P and S100 though. I am going to try EX-P and Carnuaba Moose next.

I decided to use the Meguiars #9 swirl remover with a light cut polishing pad and my Dewalt rotary. I would have used Swirl Free Polish, but I need to use up my #9. #9 worked fine though, no more swirls!

By the way, I remember you posting about detailing a corvette a while ago.. he wanted you to redo it with zaino??

Ya I took somone's advice on here and dropped him as a customer. He is the kind of guy you could never make happy even if I bent over backwards. I did another Corvette right after that and the owner was in absolute shock at how well the Clearkote products worked out. The customer who I had the problem with used dish washing soap for his car wash along with a dirty wash sponge. I cant be blamed for his inability to wash a car correctly. I have done many cars with Clearkote since and have never had one complaint. The tips and repeat business speak for themselves :up

Yes, the ClearKote VM and CM is a real nice combo. The CM over EX-P would be a good trial test but I think it will turn out great!

Awesome looking Cobra I really like the color. Very nice job on the detail, you gotta keep us updated with the EX-P.
 
NICE I would love to see that color in person.



Side note Cobras have the sweetest sounding exhaust of any car IMHO.:up
 
Ah yes, the clear wet look of EX-P! Not suprised S100 looks so good with it since both are clear products in that they have little to no effect on the original color except to make it wetter and more reflective.
