EX-P: How do you apply it?

I was just reading a thread and I saw that someone was apply PB EX-P by hand. The reason I'm curious is because I am in that stage of my detail right now, using EX-P, and I did a couple panels w/ my PC at speed 2 then speed 5 and it actually worked good it seemed. Is that too fast or harsh though. Should sealants be applied by hand? Thanks guys! :D

Use the PC, it's faster and you can spread sealants nice and thin...

Just be sure to use the least agressive pad you have. I always use RED.

I actually apply it via pc at around speed 3. I dont really spend much time working it like a polish. I have the OG EX-P..I dont know if the new stuff is thinner, but mine is pretty thick and it makes a thin coating by hand hard to do.

Alright awesome, so I guess what I've been doing has been right!

I have another question. After using the EX-P, I plan on using Red Moose Glaze and then ClearKote Carnauba wax. Should I work these 2 in with just my hand? Or use the PC for the glaze and use hand for the carnauba?

I've never used CK nuba, but I always use a machine to apply RMG... If CK nuba is a liquid, I'd apply it by machine as well.

If you're planning to use RMG and CMW AFTER EX-P, then I'd just leave EX-P out of the lineup. You could use RMG then EX-P and then top that with CMW, but I dont see a point in using the EX-P and then the other two afterward. IMO, that's just wasting time and product. Glaze comes BEFORE sealant or wax. What color is the car you're working with? Is it your Sonic Blue Lightning (cool truck and color by the way)?

Yes it is. I am detailing it for the annual Florida Lightning meet this weekend!

I definitely will. The truck's paint is already flawless and this will really bring out the great color!
