On light colored cars, i love Pwc folowed by EX p especially on light metalics.... any way would a coat of EX over the EX p on a light metalic car give it more depth???? then followed by a coat of nattys???? I just bough a 2000 s 10 with that light goldish metalica color i think it is called pewter but not sure and want to find the best combo for her...

my rigme so far

PwC with edge blue pad
2 coats of Exp by hand with yellow foam applicator
and i want to top it all off with a coat of nattys but was wondering if i shoukld throw some EX on tghere before the nattys

I would agree. On that color, I would top with Natty's, or continue with EX-P.

I am doing a Silver Accor tomorrow night and we will be using Polish with Carnuba/EX-P/ and Natty's. I like this combo a lot.

Here's another vote for skipping EX on light metallics. I prefer two use coats of EX-P followed by a Natty's topper.

Slight Thread Jack - Sorry!

Slightly O/T, but I have a quick question on the second coat of EX-P . . .

I know if i do it @ 24 hours I should do it by hand, but if I wait til next weekend, can I use the PC again, please? I really, really like how it applies the product so easily and evenly!!

Norah

PS - How about the Natty's - can it be applied with the PC?

Agreed. You can then layer Natty's to about 3 before it begins to plateau in appearance.

If your going to layer Natty's or any Carnuba for that matter...do you wait the same amount of time as if applying sealer, i.e., 24-48hrs ?

Or, can I reapply my wax as soon as it has hazed and I've wiped it off ?

Interesting to say the least..... :nono

I'll have to go with the crew on this one, I personally like the look of EX-P followed by Natty's on lighter, or brighter colors (vibrant red or yellow). The Wet look just doesn't do it for me. I'm just glad I have the opportunity to experiement with products.

Tried VM / EX-P Then 24 hours later for EX. Looks slightly wetter after EX, so I would say just stick with EX-P to Natty's. You have to have the right paint for that kinda work. And yes wait 24 hours at least! Its safest that way and I bet the results will turn out different. (Read linky)
