LA's Totally Awesome APC is great for anything. I used it to clean my driveway, inside my house, and on the car. Theres no stopping how much use you can get out of that $1 bottle :)

Hospital gowns make great detailing smocks. 3M Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish (aerosol) is great for cleaning exhaust pipes and chrome tips. A precisely cut milk crate makes for a great Grit Guard alternative. A plastic butter knife with a peace of velcro wrapped around its edge makes an awesome crevice cleaner and vent duster. Use the soft side of the velcro for dust and dirt and a second knife with the hard side of the velcro to get pet hair out of the carpet where the vac can't quite reach.
