EVER heard of ARMO Dillo

Alright...I might be spelling wrong...but...



ARMO dillo is suppose to be a cure all product for gray plastic cladding on cars....LIKE my avalanche.....jeeps, etc etc..



it is like $17 a pack and takes like 4 packs for my truck...



this stuff is suppose to:



- last 4-6 months

- Hide any fading spots like them zevra and tiger stripes

- leave a shine

- is not tacky

- does not run when wet

- cure cancer





ANYONE heard of it , use it, smell it, taste it?



Any feed back and I may buy ya a beer....



Also diferent note....GM now has a product to clean and prtect the cladding and well usupose to do the same thing...it may be the same stuff,.....

hehehe...reason why I ask...



The stuff is expensive too.....$16.95 per pack.....which I guess is like a diaper wipe.....but they say it takes 3 -4 packs to do my avalanche.....well I did the math...and well that buys a lot of product....per application...



and now I notice that it is only rated for 90 days on the website...they changed it.....So in a year I could expect to spend...



$16.95/pack * 3 Packs/3 months * 12 months / year =



$203.40.....that buys probably a 55 gallon drum of 303 or zaino tire dressing.......



I am just curious what it is similar to so I can try a cheaper version......

OK....I bring this up again.....since now GM has repackaged this product to fix all the faded gray plastic on many of their vehicles...like the avalanche, pontiac thingy...etc etc ..



Appently their is a strong cleaner.....and then a water based protectant then smears and drips in rain....



So anyone who has used please comment...

Also, have you tried Armor All. Seriously, I'd be willing to give it a try if I were you...or me.



I have tiger stripes so I might be in need of some. :)
 
stoners trim shine was always a great albeit short term solution to me when I had a plastic clad vehicle ( Never again!)



I had great luck with Klasse SG keeping it looking great too
 
I use eagle one tire shine on the cladding.....



But from some people who have used this stuff they say the cleaner is awesome and removes the tiger stripe and fading....but the protectant is sticky and gooey and runs when wet....



I was wondering who knew what this stuff is like or made of....



It is expensive.....
