Full process


 


ONR wash


Opti-Clay yellow (mild)


Optimum Power Clean diluted 3:1 to clean wheels, wheel wells, jambs and gas cap area


Meguiars M100 using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA


Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum orange foam cutting pad and Rupes


Optimum Opti-Seal


Armor All to dress wheels and wheel wells

You are a THE 'Mad Scientist' of detailing.  Your product combos are... every adjective I can come up with... PLUS, straight 150 proof, bad ass!


 


On the other hand, that's a pretty gnarly dent on the driver's front fender.  (Where's the local PDR tech?)

Scottwax- Thanks for posting this one!  I'd rather check out a detail like this than a dozen threads' worth of exotics.
 
That's a hell of a result, and I've got hope for my own corolla as well. :)


 


Scott, I may have missed your reasoning in previous threads, and I'm not asking to Flame, but why Armor All? 
 
Why not Armor All? Its water based, doesn't sling, just the right amount of shine for tires/wheel wells, cheap and available just about anywhere. 
 
I dislike armor all of the past,

But this is a new breed of products.

I bought into expensive tire gel,

and it had to be used so strong,

it cost alot per vehicle.


Attempting to find a lowest cost solution
 
family members have given me, in the recent past, several armor all kits of products.. so I may start using them up. I have many more expensive tire treatments as well, so a low-cost option for the quick clean ups and wash/wax's would be beneficial.

Purple Power and Armor All are examples of cheap and effective products that I use on nearly every detail with great results. And as mentioned they can be found anywhere. Price is not always correlated with effectiveness.
