i just got my order in and all i can say is WOW!! these are sooooo THICK with the same DUAL SIDED material, and i find if you fold it in quarters (about the size of your palm), it's a good size to work with, and for those of you who think 16x16 mf's are a little too big to deal with, these will fit the bill perfect. these are very similiar to the monster fluffies, but a tad bit smaller and turquoise in color and the blend is 80% polyester 20% polyamide. i definitely will be buying a few more packs soon enough! i HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and you can't beat the price ($15.90)!!! :up Eurow O'Reilly Corp

Have you tested these with a CD TEST yet? Or do you even plan on using them on the paint?

i just did the CD test and it passed with flying colors, and the paint is the only thing that will be touching these as well as the delicate plastics inside (odometer, etc..)! :xyxthumbs

are they available at any autoparts or retail stores?

i don't believe so. i even commented on how they should sell their mf's back in costco again, but i believe it's costco's decision to not want to carry them and stock the cheaper stuff...

What is the edge like on them?? Could they sratch or mar?

the edges are sewn, but the pile is so thick, soft and cushiony, i wouldn't really worry about it. if you're that worried, just don't apply that much pressure towards the outside edge of the towel...

also... i just washed (on delicate) and dried (on low) a few and they came out so fluffy!
