Went to the Euro 2006 festival at the BMW Plant in Greenville SC yesterday. Around 600 beautiful cars in the car show. BMW had a small road course and a skid pad where you could dog a new BMW for 30 bucks.
I polished my Royal Blue TR6 out with a combination of OC and SSR2.5 to remove the small scratches and swirls.
then SSR1 for the final polishing
one coat of Nattys Blue followed the next day by a coat of P21S.
had lots of people ask me if my car was just painted, I just smiled and replied "about 12 years ago"
toward the end there was a guy giving out free microfiber towels to the owners of the cars in the show, beside me was a swirled TR6 and he talked to the owner for quite a few minutes about the advantages of using microfiber.
When he turned to my car he looked at me and said "looks like you allready know all about these" I just smiled and took my free sample.
some shots for the old folkes.
