Equine Fleet wash

I need to give a bid on jusr doing a basic wash on 60 2 horse trailers... they are all new and hardly dirty but I do not know how to price... any help i could get would be appreciated.

I personally stay away from "fleets" as the people Ive dealt with have NO clue of whats involved. They want the most work for nothing. I guess if you do want to do fleets, be prepared for very quick wash and waxes and for close to $20 to $30 range if that. One guy I dealt with, wanted me to do a fleet of cars exterior smr work, interior shampoo , leather work for $30 CDN.. I said "no thank you"

Yeah I dont really like to do them either but its a good way to let the community know Im here. Im hoping to use this opportunity as a crutch to get into a higher end market. I eventually want to do away with all my basic wash services. I dont really profit from 30 jobs with gas prices so high and the distance I drive to most of my jobs.

Just figure time per trailer, you could do it for 30 apiece but you'd have to run a VERY efficient operation. If you ran a foamgun with a mix of car soap and APC, wash mop, then pressure washed it off with DI water, you could probably turn one every 20 minutes or so, thats $90 an hour. Hire a helper for this job, a day laborer or someone unskilled will do as long as they're teachable and you can train them quickly.

You dont think that 30 is too much? I really have no idea where to start. I currently handle all of Equine limousines fleet as well as a few other large farms trailers. But thats only a few trailers and a few trucks. Check out their site to see the size of some of the trailers I am currently detailing.

On top of the horse trailers I currently have roughly 20-30 cars I still need to complete. I have a helper and we are working 6 days a week already. Finding a laborer is not an issue just making an educated bid. I am really trying to win this bid but I do not want to short myself either. Thanks for the help anything else you might think of would be greatly appreciated.

I am not doing any work for that company just yet. When I do horse trailers I just get the size and typr of trailer and call around to see what my competitors charge. But there are no businesses that offer fleet wash in my area so I have nothing to go off of.
