Envious Detailing: Porsch turbo correction - extensive hood repair

Previous client of mine who will never be going elsewhere again!

Apparently, he had a friend come over and “get a scratch out of his hood. Things weren’t going so well in that area, and it made the area worse. Well, in order to not have a square section in the hood look different, the whole hood was “polished out” to make it blend…

I arrived to find a slightly dirty car, but the front end looked like something else was going on as it was VERY hazy and dull before I washed the car. Once I got it cleaned up, I was left with the truth!

Total time – 10 hours

Process:

Decon wash, clay, wheels/tires

3 steps of polishing on the hood alone

2 steps of polishing on the rest of the car

Sealant wax application

Interior spruce up, leather conditioning, uv protection

Here are some befores of the car

To be honest, I agree Scott!!! Worst I have ever done! But luckily it was porsche softer black paint, but then again, thats why it was so bad too!

Man.... it takes some serious talent to get buffer trails like that! Must have been using a wool pad on its side to do that much damage.

Excellent turnaround Eric!

Wish that black G37 I did had softer paint.... :lol

It wont be long now before those 50/50 shots start showing up on Craigslist ads everywhere! Well done sir.

That's pretty damn amazing! :bow

Those are the worst swirls I believe I have ever seen.

I was going to say the same thing about "worst I have ever seen". Good job bringing a great car back to right. Those wheels combined with the rotors and brakes is the sex.

Yeah guys, I would have had to TRY and do that much damage to the hood!!! I dont get how you can sit back and say, "yeah that looks ok"

oh well, keeps us in business!

I cannot think of "field of buffer trails" any worse than what you had to contend with on that hood. Amazing turn around. You need to watermark your photos!

Cheers,

GREG
