Audi R8 Correction
“Two steps to much better looking paint”
I was eying this car while I was working on his chevelle’s the week before. I noticed the lack of pure gloss from the paint while in the garage. Once I go there, I knew there was room for a pretty good change in the paint and the carbon. While the whole front was covered in PPF, the entire car’s gloss was amped up and looked much better in the end of the 8 hour timeframe! (At least my polisher didn’t break this time!)
I pulled the car out, soaped it down to start the breakdown of any protection on it and then washed it with a concentrated soap ratio, then dried. Next up were the wheels hit with the ever so good Sonax wheel cleaner. Let this stuff sit on your wheels and its like magic, brake dust melts off!
Paint received a decon wash, clay treatment with the nanoskin prep towel, then a compounding round, then a polishing round. After those steps, I hit the whole car with a paint prep before finally sealing up the car for durable protection! Tires were dressed, door jambs were wiped clean, exhaust tips cleaned up, and the license plate was re-installed!
