Envious Detailing: 1977 Ferrari 308GTB

Envious Eric

Upon arrival, it was fairly obvious that it had not been cared for properly (two other owners). oxidation, road rash, scratches, swirl marks galore, and some clearing in a few areas brought down the appearance standards of the car! With it being original paint, I only wanted to go so far and leave some of the deeper defects. I put the car at about 90-95% based on the starting condition of the paint! 25K miles on the car only, but time has taken its toll as well!!!

Here are some sun shots on the starting day...there was ZERO sun when I finished the car, so I will have to go back to get some after sun shots at a later date.

"the car was kind of hard to drive with all the gloss coming off the hood" - owner said after we drove it to the afters picture location.

Looks amazing Eric!

Nothing looks better than red when perfectly detailed, especially a red Ferrari!

Top notch work!

Nice job, I love the red. I have a black 308 waiting with my name on it. I'm just dreading all the swirls and horrible bodywork, but now I know what they really look like in the end!

PC or rotary, doesnt really matter! 105 with orange is a pretty awesome combo!

love the uber flat pads, will not get anything else. I still have to try out the hydrotech pads some more though!
