Enough to make you cry

Hi again friends. I took some before shots of the inside of the next truck assigned to me a week ago :wall <-- when you see the pix. It took me three hours to get the inside clean enough to move into. I used simple green and TW F21 ( i think) i have always used the simple green because it will clean almost anyone's mess. As far as protecting the vinal i have always liked to to shine. In these very painful shots i didn't get the seats but they are cloth. I'm going to start cleaning again for a more detailed cleaning after my new products show up. I'm going to get one of the APC's I've seen you guys talk about and i like the idea of the PB's natural look dressing. I use a new craftsman 5hp 5 gallon shop vac,what i like about it is, it has a filter on the intake side Soooo I'm going to try it as a blower too i'll let you know how that works out. Next on my list will be to clean the carpets and the seats. My wife said i could use her green machine for that task Do you guys have any thoughts on a cleaning solution for that little job. Sorry about the long post guys but i have lots of questions:bow ok here are the pictures.and for a short rant. it makes me sick that driver today just dont know how good they have it as far as the equipment goes or care about what it looks like on the inside where they live. OK I'm done just be ready for the mess, and yes i cleaned it

For some reason I can't enlarge your photo attachments so I can't really see the specifics you're talking about, but will just address generally some of the issues mentioned.

First, you mentioned PB's NL (Natural Look - you'll notice we abbreviate speak - you'll find a list of some of the more common uses here http://www.detailcity.org/forums/auto-detailing-101/16180-updated-acronym-list.html). IMO you will really enjoy this product for dressing/protecting all of your vinyl/hard plastic surfaces (some even use it for leather).

As for cleaning the vinyl areas, according to PB's product page, NL has some cleaners notice it mentions dust and light grime. Good enough for your personal vehicle that you touch up regularly, but probably not enough for your case where you're cleaning up after someone else. Since you already have Simple Green you can use that, diluted appropriately. After you get through that supply you can sure look for other alternatives. We will all have our own suggestions.

Carpets/cloth seats - Thorough vac to start. I also have a 5 hp Craftsman it should do a good job. You mention your Wife has a "Green Machine". Is that the Bissel Little Green Machine? There are several guys that use that for their extractor. Since you've got it, why not give it a shot. If she has that she also probably has some Bissel carpet/upholstery cleaners she uses with it. I would be inclined to try those chemicals first before investing in something else. If you decide to do this on a larger scale, my recommendation would be to contact either a carpet supplier or janitorial company for some carpet/upholstery specific cleaners. I have a couple of favorites, but there are almost as many options as we have waxes/sealants. Another note, on the LGM I have not used it myself, so I'm not certain, but I'll bet your Crafstman wet/dry vac is going to have more lift. So after "extracting" with the LGM go over once again with your Craftsman.

I used a little green for several years before getting a big extractor. They are great for people who don't need one everyday. I always used the Bissel solution. Just make sure you use hot water in it.
They make a little green machine called Pro Heat, but it only heats the water 10 more degrees. Good luck.
