enough dressing?!?!

I have seen this all too often. It is getting better but i do deal with this, as being in the used car market. I see this mess and then it is only half done, missed spots, wiped over dirt etc. How you say solvent dressing?

The fast way is to take my Las-Stik dust cloth and wipe it around, and because it doesn't dry, it moves to the next spot and it looks clean, until the next guy is paid to clean it. Then all the dirt starts to show as a nasty oily mess.



The proper way is to strip it with a good cleaner and start over.



They use this junk because it hides dirt.

I like how they dressed the pedals (can we say dangerous) and left the gas pedal covered in dirt! I see this all the time from the auction.

Curious, are you looking for a box truck? Last I saw on your site, you had an Econoline & tandem axle trailer. Or are you putting another truck on the road?

When my friend bought a used Hummer H1, and his interior looked very simlar to that from the dealer. Funny thing is, it lasted quite a while....I think that van got an entire gallon of vinyl/rubber dressing!
 
I remember when I picked up my tahoe 2 years ago. They had put dressing on all the plastic, but I think it was just grease it was horrible. As I was about to leave the guy said, "now remember when you wax it... its wax on, wax off" in big circular motions. I did everything just to nod my head and not say anything.
