Well the products I used was the reason I posted. I used Powergloss with a wool pad around 2500 and this was the lowest speed I could get all the crap/dead paint off the panel. Subsequently there were slight holograms all down the side when you look at it in the sun. I explained what caused this to the customer, and next time I plan on using something like Meguiars #66 with a polishing pad for a one step wax and polish and hopefully that will get rid of the hologramming. I have already booked 3 more of these so I am hoping that it is ok/right to be polishing this anodized aluminum like this. I've read one post out of about 10 on autopia, detailcity, and megauirsonline that said they didn't think you were supposed to polish them. If you have any experience doing these please chime in!
