Employee pay range?

I think we can make that into a "pricless" commercial. Cavemen working on a fire about commitment and hard work to a person starting and running their own detailing business :hah

I know my local detail shop pays his guys $15 per car. So, the more cars they can cram in the more they make. It's about quantity not quality over there .;)

Well I have been in the business for a little more than 10 years and have worked for many detail shops.. The general pay is any were from $7/hr - 12/hr I have worked hourly and flate rate I like the flat rate as it does make you hussle to earn a good days pay the one place that i really liked did flat rate but if something was wrong with the car you had to fix it for free regardless if it took 1 min to 4 hours. So I guess it promoted doing the job right the first time. This is a topic that can have so many views and insights. I guess you have to do what you think is the right thing to do...
I want to have a good crew and am willing to pay for it. some books say the best way to keep your turn around low is to offer your employees a feeling of ownership. I turned it around and came up with monthly bonuses It gives them a feeling of having something invested in the Co. and something to work for
It can be based on a few different catagories, Volume, Quality, to name a few. I hope this helps.

Keep in the back of your head that these are people to As we have risks and bills to pay so do the people working for us!
