Electronic Paint thickness gauge

Make a sketch of your car and take readings before you do anything and record them for future reference.

My former employer would do that on the equipment we painted. We would do it after every coat so we could ensure the customer of the paint millage. We had to meet their specs.

Guess My Name, that's a great idea, but I bet the majority of the Autopians (if not all of them) have already polished/sanded/buffed their cars in a variety of places. I know I've SMRed my car all over the place in order to fix the swirls the dealer "gave" me upon delivery.
