Any suggestions for the care of the wheels on an Electraglide? (cleaning products, Sealant?) I have never used a wheel sealant before. What are the major advantages of sealants

hey jerry, i use normal wax on my fatboy wheels. it seems to work well for me. i have never tried specific wheel sealant myself. did you get a new bike?
 
I traded the Fatboy in on an 02 electraglide. (My wife went kicking and screaming... Not really, she just really liked the looks of the fatboy.) The fatboys are great bikes. I just wanted to try a bike with cruise and tunes that was set up for a little longer haul.

I don't think I will miss the fine grooves in the fatboy wheels but I'm still undecided about the wheels on the electraglide...

I wondered what the difference was between the sealant and wax?
 
Wax will give you more of a Shine/depth with very little protection!

Sealent will give you all the protection with added shine/depth!

got any pics to post? i got the fatboy because my wife liked it over the heritage softail. if she likes to ride on it we may upgrade to a tourer in a few years. i tell her that chrome wheels will be easier to care for so that is why i need them. i am still working on that one.
 
Haven't taken any pictures yet. Been too busy working and riding. I'll try to take some. If I can remember how to get them downloaded on the site. (I'll probably need to ask how to do that too...)

The chrome wheels are nice on the fatboy. Pricey but very nice.
