[Einszett]

Why are Einszett products no longer available on major car-care enthusiast sites? As a big 1z fan, I really want to know why my favorite online retailers no longer carry Einszett.

The following is a quote from the Einszett website:

"Einszett North America works only with dealers and distributors that place importance on the following two standards: one, operating in a fair and ethical manner; and two, providing customers with nothing less than total customer satisfaction. However, it is the former which we believe is the foundation of every sound business structure and therefore receives the most emphasis from us. For this reason, it serves as the primary determining factor for Einszett North America as to who receives â€â€œ and maintains â€â€œ status as an Authorized Einszett Dealer or Einszett Distributor. We believe any Dealer or Distributor not able to heed by these two standards do not have a place in a working relationship with Einszett North America."

Are you guys at Einszett trying to say that several of my favorite online retailers aren't "fair and ethical"??!! I've yet to have a bad experience with ANY of them, and I've been shopping A LOT over the last 6 months.

You guys at Einszett make really great products; but I would sure like to see them put back on the really great websites.

Mikeman,

I'm not positive, but I don't think there are any Einszett representatives that frequent this site anymore to answer your question. You have a very valid question/complaint and if you would like it answered correctly, I would contact 1Z directly.

Why not post where everyone can be informed of the issue? I am interested in why they dont wish to sell through the resellers I have come to trust also. I have been puzzled as to what the issues are too. I think it is interesting that this company has deserted its customer base for whatever reason..... seems sorta screwy IMHO.

Einszett get over yourself. Who does this company think it is? The way they handled the whole thing just turns me off. There are much better products out there IMO.

Agree.

Disagree. Maybe better, but not much better. I really like Metallic Polish and Glanz Wax. :)

I believe I *may* have found the answer. If I'm wrong, correct me, but I was browsing einszett's site today and found this...

Becoming a Distributor

Criteria:

- Motivation to seek and maintain retail outlets and industry clients in contracted territory.

- Wholesale only. Retail sales prohibited including internet sales, mail order, etc.

- Minimum buy-in required with competitive pricing.

- Must be interested in long-term relationship.

I believe many of the sites we were ordering our 1Z products from were considered distributors, and apparently einszett has a policy against distributors doing internet sales. I may be wrong, but I believe this may be the reason behind 1z being discontinuted by various vendors.

If that is the case, how is pak shak still a distributor? Perhaps you can do that if you have a store front as well? I am glad that they still are however.

I think there is a difference between a distributor (wholesale) and a dealer. There are five authorized online dealers. Do all five of these online dealers have a brick & mortar store? If so, that's the answer to the question.
