hi folks!

today i received my Einszett Glass Polish & Glass Cleaner. i tried it tonight and i must say this stuff is AMAZING!

the regular cleaner is great by itself. you spray it on and wipe it away with a MF and it is immediately streak-free. i solves even bugs and tar and grease almost immediately. this is by far the best glass cleaner i have aver used. :dancin

next i tried the Glass Polish and this stuff is amazing as well. i had a glass table that was really streaky and even the 1Z glass cleaner had trouble. so i used the polish and it made the table crystal clear immediately.

both of these products are great stuff! highly reccomended. the only downside i could find so far is that both of them smell like a chemical plant just exploded nearby. like most german stuff, they don't make it smell good, but it sure works like nothing else.

This is a great product. You are right about the smell; I do not use it inside the car because of the strong smell.

It also works very well with a polishing pad on the PC...it made my windshield look great!

mtodde,

have you found a glass cleaner that is "as good" as the 1Z GC but doesn't have the smell? i.e. what do you use for the interior glass?

i found that most glass cleaners available for household use, even the expensive ones, streak and smear like hell. i guess the 1Z just has a lot of solvants which in turn give the ugly smell. oh well, one can't have everything...

thanks,

1z glass cleaner is one of my favorites as it cleans even the dirtiest windows without a problem. The ione thing I do not like is the limited availability.

I like Stoners Invisible Glass and Sprayway but Sprayway takes a while to get used to in terms of controlling the spray.

IG can be found somewhat cheap at car shows also...about 3 products for $10 at NOPI.

1Z Glas Polish and Cleaner are my current favorites. They are very good at removing haze from inside your windows.

Outside glass isn't the problem for me . Its the inside glass that never comes clean . Have any of you tried Einszett Glass Polish & Glass Cleaner on inside glass ??

The Glas Polish is a bit too chemical smelling for interior use on my car...I don't want to loose the new car smell. I'm sure it would be quite effective on inside windows. The problem would come with the windscreen & rear glass - the lower portion would be very tough to buff on a lot of cars.

This is not a product that you spray & wipe. It is a liquid polish that you buff to a haze then buff off.

1Z Glass Cleaner for interior

yes, the polish might be a bit of a pain on the interior. however, the "einszett glass cleaner" can be use in the inside.

the smell is not nice, but if you do it while all doors are open, it will go away pretty easy. there is no polishing required. just sray some onto a MF and wipe the glass on the inside. amazing results! believe me.

i just did the inside windows of my brand new car. what i did was i sprayed a bit of water and then a bit of the glass cleaner onto a MF so basically thinned it down a bit. the smell was not as strong as the pure stuff. still cleaned like nothing i have ever used. i left the doors open for 5 more minutes and all was gone. still smells like new car, but with clean windows! :-)

Great Glass Products

I agree, I've found that the 1Z Scheibenklar (Windscreen Cleaner) works better for me than Stoner's Invisible Glass. It works much better at removing the interior haze than expected and doesn't streak plus I actually like the smell of it :).

The Glas Polish is excellent also and I agree again that it maybe too much of a hassle to use it on the interior glass. This stuff seems much stronger to me than Autoglym Glass Polish and it did "cut" through tough spotty filming on exterior glass.

What is your application method for 1z window polish?

Eric

So far, I've only applied GP using a terry applicator but I want to use the PC on some tougher situations. With the terry app., I polish till it starts to haze over and then I allow it to dry for a couple of minutes. Once its dry I buff with a microfiber or terry towel. Easy as that. It works far better than Autoglym without having to use a lot of elbow grease.

I picked up IG at Wal-Mart for $3.28, excellent product that does a great streak-free job on glass, inside-n-out, when using MF.

:) I'm buying it concentrated in a 10 liters package (= 20 liters of product=40 sprayers ;) )
