Einszett anyone????

No more Menzerna for me. Too much hazing needed to be removed with alcohol. Sorry I bought it. Didn't do a better job than anything I could get locally. Hope the 1z products turn out ok. I like there are no fragrances. I want something that behaves and smells like a serious industrial product. I assume this stuff is formulated especially with German paint in mind.

Bill, I'm surprised you have any trouble with it.. maybe it's technique? I don't have any problems at all with that, in fact as I said, the lack of that problem is one of my fav things about that product.

Hmm.. I've spoken with a few others who had the same problem, thus the nick name "gluezerna"

I was walking in from my garage and noticed some water spotting on my trunk. I used the Lackpolitur Polish and a white polishing pad on my PC. Set it at 5 and worked it in well till almost all was gone. WOW! I love it. Topped with Glanz wax and if there is an easier, better wax, I don't know about it. I have S100, and sure it's easy, but I believe this is just as easy, if not easier. Sure is faster.

Anyways, I took pics, but they won't be developed for a few days. Tomorrow I do a Jag convertible, red/burgundy metal flake with swirls. I can hardly wait to put the products through the shakedown. I will post pics when available.

By the way, I agree with David, Michael at 1Z is a great guy, and I agreed that their reasoning for not adding foo foo scents to product make tons of sense. I am using up my other products and am going to invest heavily in 1Z products. Everthing I've used works great!

Wow, this really sounds like very nice stuff. I might pick up some 1Z stuff next weekend, the metallic polish and Glanz Wax:)

I just have to post one more time on einszett and then I'm done....I really love this stuff on my silver Passat and they don't pay me to say this! I'm the mother on an 19-month-old and I don't want to take time away from her to work on my car, but I love for it to look great. This being said, I tried 1Z and and was hooked. I used mostly Meg's and Mothers stuff before and it was work, even if I didn't layer wax. The products I use from einszett are totally easy to work with, even by hand, and produce outstanding results. For those of you who are interested in 1Z you won't be disappointed.

Has anyone used 1Z on domestic or Japan paint? I used the Glanz Wax on a new blue Jeep Liberty Freedom Edition and it streaked a bit. I just wet it down and dried with a BBDT and everything was fine. I am curious how the polishes perform on older paint also. Any comments would be appreciated.

Just received my first order from David lastweek, super

fast service. Brought some 1Z product, Tiefenpfleger tire

and rubber treatment. This stuff is really good. I put product

on foam tire wipe and applied to tire. Went on tire real even

and I let it set about 1 minute then as I alway do wiped over

it with a cotton rag. To my suprise none came off of tire onto

rag. Wow this stuff was completly dry. Tires have a matte type

of shine, looks real good. For you guys that want the wet look

this isn't for you. Something to compare to would be Zaino just

completly dries.

After this I'm going to try some other products from them....

I've used the three 1Z polishes and basically agree with Dude about how abrasive they are, except for MAYBE the Ultra polish. And yes, they ARE easier to use than comparable 3M products (which *I* consider easy to use).

*I* thought the Ultra was a little MILDER than PI-III RC (pn 05933). At least *I* used the PI-III RC first (wool pad then cutting pad) and then the Ultra (cutting pad). Then PI-III MG (pn 05937) followed by the Paint Polish (first with a cutting pad then a polishing pad). Finished up with the Metallic Polish (polishing pad), which is VERY mild- don't expect it to remove much marring. Topped it all off with Platinum and topped THAT with Meg's #16. Worked out quite well. This was on a very swirled/scratched silver 2001 Audi, and while it didn't get out ALL the marring it made it a LOT better and the owner was thrilled.

I *THINK* the 1Z polishes contain plenty of oils and some fillers, but this didn't cause a bonding problem of any kind with the PUPP. But it IS worth mentioning as some Autopians are loathe to use oily/filler-containing products, at least without an alcohol spritzer.

The cans are cool, but are NOT, IMO, as functional as the kind 3M polishes come it. BTW, *I* thought the 1Z polishes DID have a cool smell. Reminded me of the winter holidays :nixweiss

Macgirl, not picking on you, only triggered me because you were the last to say something about this when I decided to address it..

I may need to do some research here since lately I've seen some threads that indicate that some people think that there's some large differences between "German" paint and "Japanese" paint, etc.

How many people subscribe to this? If this is true, I see a BONANZA in the detailing products marketing departments.. Megs #7-G for German paint, #7-J for Japanese, etc, etc.

I doubt there's much difference ... does someone have research on this I could see?
