How come I never see anything about einszett products??? they seem to be top notch stuff. Anyone use any of there products??? How do you like them, pros & cons??? thanks,,,91

If you're not seeing anything about Einszett (some of us refer to them as 1Z), then I gotta think you're not looking very carefully. I know I've posted positive reviews of 1Z Plastik-Reniger and Gummipflege. Have you actually searched on this manufacturer?

This product line is also very new here in the States. It takes a long time to build buzz on any product line... even longer when the products have strange sounding names.

1Z makes some great products.

Glanz Wax: Easy to Use, Goes A Long Way, Lasts A Good While!

Cockpit Premium: Leaves A Great Matte OEM Finish On Interior Bits.

Plastik-Reiniger: Makes Quick Work of Cleaning Even The Dirtiest Plastics.

Einszett products gained popularity in the US a little over a year ago, particularly with the VW/Audi group. I'm a fan of their Paint Polish and hope to try some others.

Still trying to find out if the Paint Polish is really incredibly good for removing minor scratches on German finishes

I've used it and like it.

The Glanz wax has pretty good durability and a very unique look. It's maybe 80% as reflective as Zaino while providing 30% more depth. It is very, very easy to apply, and only one coat is needed.

It looked really good on my wife's car, whcih is silver. I am always contemplating switching back to it. Unlike most people, I think light colored cars benefit from waxes which add depth. I used Zaino on my wife's car for about a year but will never use it again. It's not that it didn't look great -- it did -- but I just think that a wax with more depth looks even better. Einszett looked considerably better, IMO.

The Einszett poishes are really outstanding. They do a really good job on swirls and oxiadation and break down almost immediately- they don't haze at all. I think they are far superior to the 3M polishes.

Gummi Pfledge, as everyone has noted, is a really great product.

I have the Gummi Pfledge, and it's one of my favorites. I also like Glanz Wax, it's super thin which makes application easy. Cockpit Premium isn't bad, but I prefer 303. I view Cockpit Premium as more of a cleaner than a protectant.

I have yet to try any of the polishes, but I hear good things.

I went to there website to to see what I can find out about them. Looks like really good stuff! Seems like the Shop line of there products is the most popular. Looked at there professional line, some of this you can buy byt the gallon which is very cool and need to do some more read up on there other products. Tks guys,,,,,,91

I have a bunch of 1Z product and I love it so far. I had a bit of a challenge at first with the polish but now have the knack.

Especially like the Metallic Polish and Glanz Wax. Both work great and are super easy to use.

Highly recommend trying them.

For people that used both Einszett and 3M polishes how would you compare them?

I'm especially wondering about levels of abrasiveness, is 3M SMR more aggressive than Metallic Polish, etc.

Don't forget einszett is now a sponsor here. About a year ago Michael was on the ClubB5 forum and if you emailed him, he would send you a sample of anything you wanted to try. I don't know if they are still doing that but you could PM him and see. I used up my sample of Metallic Polish on my 2002 VW Passat and I'm definitely going to get more. My car looked fantastic, very wet and glossy. The stuff was very easy to work with by hand. The Glanz Wax is top-notch, easy on and off and an excellent deep shine. For a QD they offer Spuh Wax, I tried it and it works really good but I just prefer to use EO Wipe N Shine or Meg's QD, easier to get and cheaper. I've also tried the Lederfledge (leather cleaner and conditioner). I love using this as a monthly one-step cleaner and conditioner followed by 303. Another neat thing about einszett's polishes is they come in a classy tin container.

Oooo, I forgot a con: these products don't contain any perfumey smells like bananas or something tropical, strictly chemical here (polishes and wax). If you can get past that and work in a ventilated area you should enjoy the results from 1Z

Macgirl is right. The smell is really something. It's very...industrial. No coconut oil or bubble gum scents. I like it,; it makes me feel as if I am using very serious products.

The Metallic Polish is hardly abrasive at all. The Paint Polish is only slightly more abrasive than SMR, and the Ultra Paint Polish is extremely abrasive, much like Perfect It III Rubbing Compound. (When you put a drop on your finger, it feels like liquid sandpaper.)

I discovered 1z through one of the kits I bought from David - the perfect shine I think. Since then, one at a time, I've tried another product of theirs. And what I've concluded at this point is that I don't even need to be hesitant anymore - I'm certain that whatever they send will be the best I have in the garage. Try their bug remover (insekt-something).. works great, doesn't remove the wax. Unfortunately I discovered it after I read all the raves about turtle wax bug and tar remover, put some on my plastic mirror, and hazed the finish on it.

The other product I love is the rubber and vinyl conditioner. I've yet to find anything that does a better, longer lasting job on tire sidewalls.

The stuff I haven't tried is mentioned above and I can't wait to get it... reading what was said about the glanz wax gets me really ready to get it. The only thing I'll be hesitant on is to move off of my love for menzerna polishes - they have minimal hazing but the best thing is they come off as easy as they go on. No matter what!

David - there's lots of 1z stuff you don't carry. why not pick up the rest of the line for us? At least let us give you special orders if they let you get onesie-twosies from them for us?

No more Menzerna for me. Too much hazing needed to be removed with alcohol. Sorry I bought it. Didn't do a better job than anything I could get locally. Hope the 1z products turn out ok. I like there are no fragrances. I want something that behaves and smells like a serious industrial product. I assume this stuff is formulated especially with German paint in mind.

Please realize that not all of the line is in the US yet. In fact, I have been working with Michael to get several of the products packaged in more consumer-friendly sizes. As an example, the 1Z glass polish is available in 1000 ml in the professional line, but not available at all in the consumer line. Michael has done a great job working with the factory to get the glass polish in a 250 ml size. Michael has been very responsive with the factory to my requests for changes. I think we'd be hard pressed to find another company the size of Einszett that would be as willing to make these changes.

I would like to make a comment about what Macgirl said regarding fragrance. We have become so used to detailing products smelling good that we now expect it. I did my share of pushing back on the 1Z exterior line due to the chemical smell. The response back from the factory was one I can now appreciate. They said that they had become more aware of the potential hazard to children by making polishes and waxes (any petrol-based product) smell sweet. This is the reason they removed the fragrances. Their honesty and regard for safety meant a lot to me.
