Egged! Any fix to the paint chips?

Someone egged my car while it was parked on the street. Luckily I caught it in time and washed the egg off, but the shell cratered the paint. Will wet sanding do anything or should I try to fill the voids with touch up paint and then wet sand?



Please help! FYI- I tried a medium abrasive, to no avail as this cut my paint.

Just went thru this a month ago.



You might want to hold off on the touch up

as it may slightly mismatch with the original paint

and look crappy. I know, it happened to me.



Try this. If the mini craters are not that deep

try polishing with a little corn starch mixed in your favorite

polish.



Do this little by little over time. Months if needed

but you will see the paint melting into itself

slowly and the craters will fill in. It worked for me.



Be patient. Thats the key.
