Effect of weight on alloy wheels?

The weight or mass of the car is only one factor. The weight of the wheel will effect the spring dampener relationship but whether it is significant enough to be noticeable would be hard to predict.

I still haven't put the new wheels on because I've been too busy and have had a dickens of a time finding new stainless, chrome, or nickel wheel studs. If anyone knows where I can find stainless, chrome, or nickel conical wheel studs for a Saab 95, please post here!! Thanks.

not reading all threads, i'll add :

its reducing the unsprung weight (wheels) that increases performance,,,trying to reduce 100 lbs of unsprung weight is really hard!!!

if these wheels are heavier than stock...than a big brake kit is an option. even a couple of pounds extra on wheels, means alot more work for the BRAKES.
