EF Clear Pearl

I just got 2 cans of S-100 wax, and I'm probably going to order some EF Clear Pearl, but I have some questions:

1) If you put Clear Pearl on a waxless car, will the car bead? Does the Clear Pearl contain a wax or some other form of protection?

2) Since Clear Pearl cleans, won't it be removing more wax (S-100) than it provides on it's own, or does it not affect the wax that's on the car already? It seems that if it cleans bird droppings, etc., off the car, it would also remove wax. I would imagine that it would be best to re-S-100 wherever droppings, etc. were removed by the Clear Pearl.

Thanks for any info.

Clear Pearl, will actually help the durability of the S-100 wax. It should bead water with the oils/wax it leaves behind on the car's surface even if the car was not waxed to begin with.

The lubricating properties of the product will aid in removing light dust, and stains such as bird droppings. If it takes a lot of rubbing, I would use some car wash in a squirt bottle to remove the stain, and then rewax the panel. Bird droppings are highly acidic and will eat through wax.

1. If you put EFCP on a "waxless" car it will be difficult to wipe to a gloss. If it takes you more than a few quick, gentle wipes that means it is time to reapply a wax coat. EFCP is a carnauba based QD so it does contain a small amount of wax. Will it bead with only EFCP....perhaps but not for long.

2. It will not remove the S100.

Give OGSO a try with the S100....you won't be disappointed (plus it's a few $$ less than EFCP).

I use EFCP on top of P21S/S100 and I think it works great. I used to use Griot's Speed Shine and I like the EFCP a little bit better. By the gallon, it is not too expensive. :)

How would you rate EFCP to ClearKote QuickShine? I have the ClearKote QuickShine on order.

Don't ever ask about a product or a price after you have made the purchase.:)
