I just wanted to share my experience with Edge Pads.

I had bought the whole collection of Edge 2000 DA Pads (White, Blue, Green, Yellow) from Dwayne when he first took over. They were on sale and the price was great. I also bought a bunch of other stuff as I was getting ready for my first real detail. I began with a polishing pad and SSR2.5, but that wasn't cutting it, so I moved to a Light Cut Pad. They helped a good bit, but about halfway around my truck with the PC on 6, the center plate or backing plate became unglued. I attempted several times to get it to stick back, but it never did. I switched back to the polishing pad and went slowly because I was a bit scared of the medium cut pad since it was my first time.

I just called up Dedication to Detail who makes the Edge Pads and talked to Aaron. He asked me some questions about my pad and it turns out I had the first generation pads in which the glue they had used for the rotary pads would not hold up to the DA's. He explained they since had changed to a different glue and asked me which pads I had. I explained that I had them all and he said he would send me all new ones!!! I offered to send back the ones I had so that he could look at them, but he said to keep them and get whatever use was left out of them. I called him this past Friday, and the UPS man had the new pads at my door Monday!!

Not too often do I see customer service like this and I thought I would share my experience with you guys. Most of the time we only hear the complaints, so I wanted to pass along a good story. Aaron went above and beyond his requirements and was truly concerned that I received a good product. You can be sure I'll continue to purchase their pads!
