The Edge 6 inch Wave Pad vs. the Edge 6" DA pads

Of you guys that have actually used both or any of you other knowledgeable guys out there....Do you LOSE anything by going with the Wave pads? I realize the reduced surface area helps with the ventilation, but does the reduced surface area sacrifice anything in performance?

I'm looking to make the jump over to the Edge pads, and the pkg deal on the Wave pads seems like a better deal than the one for the regular pads.

What would be your suggestion?

i have the Edge 6 DA Pads too but looking at the wave pads seems pretty tempting to buy them. anyone with any experiences in the wave pads, post your opinions or comments.

Though I do not use them anymore, I found the wave pad more "controllable". Less pad hop.

I never had a pad hop problem with any pads. Do the wave pads polish as well as the conventional ones?

I think I'm leaning toward the conventional ones b/c the pkg seems to be somewhat of a better deal b/c of the thrown in MF towels and bonnets.

That is...unless AutoGeek will offer the Wave pads in the same pkg ;)

Either or will do. I use flat pads now. No problems.
Since you get the extras, then I change my response from the wave to the flats... Extras always come in handy.

Your a big help. :D

The wave pads are becoming more and more popular. I have used other waffle type pads before and used to love them. Then 3M put a stop to the ones I used to use because of patent infringement.

Although I haven't tried the wave pads I would pick them over the flat ones for the D/A. I like to use my D/A on 6 quite a bit, and I imagine you will get better working time with the wave pads.

Please keep in mind I have not used them so my advice won't be as valuable as someone's who has.
