Edge 2000 Wave or Flat pads

I'm looking for some feedback as to which of the two you all prefer and why? I'll be using them on my rotary and pc.

wave leaves a better finish for a rotary although flat pads cut faster. flat pads for a PC

yet to try the wave, but i love the flat pads. I have them for the rotary and the pc.

I only have wave pads for my PC, and I'm beginning to think that flat is the way to go -- for PC at least.

I was lucky to find Edge 2000 pads here at all. I'd like to try the wave pads to see how they are. Has anyone ever tried the wool pads in the 6" size? I had asked for the light cutting pad but the supplier gave me a green wool light cutting pad. As I haven't used wool anything special I should be on the look out for?
