Edge 2000 pads and Makita BO6040..

I don't know of anyone using them on that model , so I won't say no . Call Edge Pads 1 800-315 3343 and ask them to be 100% sure. :buffing:
 
Today I had a chance to ask the guys over at Edge Pads about this. Sorry to say the 2000 pad system won't fit this model but you can use their Classic pads which are velcro backed.

I just purchased a set of edge 2000 for my makita 9227 (rotary) and was thinking of getting the BO6040 to compliment the rotary

You could get a PC and use the Edge 2000 pad system on that , you would need the shorter adapter .

They don't make a PC that works down under...

And I don't really fancy paying for a transformer as well, cos by the time I've finished, the PC will cost me about AUD$600
