Eco-Friendly Products

Hey, I am just curious if anyone has any good experience with more environmentally friendly products like P21's biodegradable wheel cleaner. I have been using tire/wheel cleaners in the past that will actually mark up the driveway and kill the grass because of the runoff. Thanks in advance.
 
I would be open to more environmentally friendly options as well. I currently use ONR so that's something I guess.
 
Most of the Optimum line is ECO friendly. They even have a website for ECO car care products that show some of them. You could call Optimum or email them and get a rundown of all the products. David the owner has been interviewed by the NY Times about ECO detailing products and has been a guest on a talk show on a Serius satellite radio program a couple of times.



Try contacting other suppliers you like and find out what products they sell are ECO friendly. This is the big push and trend with the industry so they my be on top of it.
 
I use Optimum products pretty exclusively. I tell each person that contacts me that I use eco-friendly products. Kevin Farrell recently wrote an article on "going green" in detailing: Eco-Friendly Car Wash | Waterless Car Wash | Going Green Detailing



I'd love to know of other products that are eco-friendly (I use Simple Green as well). I read somewhere that just because a product is biodegradable doesn't mean it's eco-friendly. Can anybody explain that one or is that just wrong?

Just wondering. Do you use to steam on the paint of a car your working on.
 
I agree, Optimum products are designed to be 'green'. Not sure how much the good Doctor is into the green movement but if you can be enviromentally resposible without losing performance, that is a huge market to tap. :)

That is correct. I really don't understand it enough to explain it very well. Check out this website they explain it a bit. biodegradable
