Ebay Microfiber

First off, buying off eBay can be good or bad. If you are in doubt, dealing with a reputable supplier works pretty good.

Now for your question/problem. Most suppliers of MF towels recommend washing them before use. If you didn't do that, it's possible that the residue from the manufacturing process might be what you are seeing.
I guess I would probably wash them and try again before I went any further.

The MF on ebay you linked to are the same ones that are available from Costco for under 9 bucks a dozen. They definitely need to be washed first or they will lint a lot. They aren't bad MF, but the edges will start to curl after you wash and dry them. For the price though, they are a pretty good towel.

Except for the fact that I bought them at costco 12 for 8 bucks whereas this person is selling 6 for 8 bucks + shipping. Gotta be careful with Ebay, there are a ton of BS 'deals' out there.

I recently bought a purple waffleweave microfiber on evilbay. Excellent product. Way better than any other microfiber I have. Made me into a microfiber believer. Bought from user ultramicrofiber. Same exact towel material sold by pinnacle.com

I keep looking at his auctions, but have yet to pull the trigger. His descriptions and photos are better than the rest.

If I'm not mistaken, that is JT International's ebay name. Many detailing enthusiasts have purchased towels from Tom Gong's company. Good towels at very good prices.
