easy AIO topper

Just like the topic says. I'm looking for an easy AIO topper for my dad. I want to stay away from SG but I need something fool proof: easy on, easy off. I was thinking of 4*UPP. Am I on the right track? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Damn that was quick! Went to talk to my wife for a minute and there you two are. Thanks for the quicky-ness!

Is there a website that sells both VM and UPP? It seems UPP is easier to use then ExP. Do you agree? I want to try this combo on my silver BMW.

Ranney at Pakshak sells both. I just checked and his website is down for update. He does offer Autopians a discount. I think the site should be back up in a day or two if you don't mind waiting.

Ranney's code for our discount is "Autopia". He manually changes the prices so you will not see the discount when you checkout. Wes

4* UPP is a nice product, although you have to wait 30-45 minutes before wiping it off. well, that is the info i got.

menzerna's full molecular jacket (FMJ) is an easy on and off, no waiting, and in my experience, pretty much the same slickness and looks as UPP. the only downside is the price.

Yes I believe UPP is easier to use than EX-P. EX-P is pretty thick stuff, and UPP is quite thin, so a thin layer is very easy to achieve.

the wait is actually not a big deal ... i've applied the UPP to the entire car & then circle back to buff it off in the same pattern as it was applied. very easy to use & looks good.

regarding UPP vs. FMJ: on the silver car that i've used both --- the UPP looks shinier than the FMJ. haven't tried them both on any other color, but i prefer the shinier look of the UPP for my silver. FMJ is as easy to apply as the UPP.

yeah, i got a sample and wasn't sure, so i checked here and saw a few posts saying you should wait. but thanks for the info, maybe that'll make it easier to use UPP.

and i tried both UPP and FMJ on my azure blue mach1. i could not tell the difference between the two on my paint. but i did use AIO + UPP on a metallic green honda accord, and :woot: the flakes were so nice!
