Overall it came out very nice and had a very wet look even for a white car. The picture really dont do it justice. My father was extremely happy and refused to drive it all weekend because of Construction in our neighborhood.

On an unrelated note when is the best time to take pictures? These were taken around 9:30 when the sun is still rising and being blocked by trees. Is it better when the sun is directly overhead of setting?

Nice gift and great work!

I always feel morning shots leave the car with a lot of "cool" spots in the picture, although if you catch the right angle, morning sun is very hard to beat. High Sun can be great for a flawless finish but can sometimes wash out a pic with bright spots. Evening-ish is the time for me. Get the warmer tones of the day and some great refelctions. The only problem is that purists might think your trying to hide something. I guess the best answer is to take pictures all day long and then create an elaborate, mind-blowing montage :2thumbs:

Gotta love Natty's on white. As far as the pics go, I try to get atleast one with the sun beating down right on the car to show off my work. I usually go for a shot of just the panel, so I dont have to worry about the background getting washed out.

Very nice! Great gift for any occasion!

Honestly, there really is no great time of day to shoot white paint. Shade helps but not always. Looks pretty good in your pics though. I understand about losing some of the gloss and wetness you actually see vs what the camera shows. I go through it all the time.

I didn't realize the Easter bunny was such an excellent detailer... :cooleek:

I also didn't realize that Natty's looked so good on white. Very wet and lovely.

Great job!!!
