Easiest place to buy?

This is a really silly/dumb question, but does anyone know the easiest place to go to find the blue painter's tape that does not leave any adhesive when removed? I want to get some so that when using my PC, I don't get product where I don't need (ex. tailights, window edges, etc.) I also need to tell my friend to go get some but he doesn't have any home improve type stores close to him. Thanks.

any hardware store at all, ace, home depot, lowes, costco, paint store perhaps, bodyshop store

Any paint store or home improvement store should have tan, blue ,and green masking tape on their shelves

Wal mart along with the other stores listed should/will have it in their paint supply section of the stores.

Is there any specific brand to look for? I just want to make sure the tape can be applied to paint without it leaving adhesive gunk after removing it.

I prefer 3M. I also tap the tape once on my shirt to take a little more of the adhesion away.
