I am having problems removing DACP and SSR 2.5. After applying these products on the car I am having to SCRUB to get them to come off. I dont beleive this should be the way its suspose to be. Am I doing something wrong or is there a easier way to remove them.

The first thing that I thought of was...what are you using to apply the product? By Hand or PC? The next thing is....how much product? The next question would be...Are you using a QD to help aide the removal process?

Scrubbing should not be in the process. When ever I have happened to get a product that has proved difficult to remove I have used a detail spray with a moisten MF towel to wipe not scrub the area that has proved to be difficult. Most times in that situation I realized that I had put to much product on that particulliar spot.

Scrubbing means you've not worked the product in. THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO REMOVE SWIRLS, except pay someone else. Take a long time on each panel. A long time, really long time.

I think PEI has hit the proverbial nail on the head ....if you are having trouble removing a swirl remover then you did not fully work it ...as much enjoyment as people get from polishing and waxing their cars, it's WORK!!! It takes time, patience and the right combination of product and pads to achieve the desired results. Also don't use QD's to prime the pads when using SSR2.5 and don't use too much...there are many threads on the proper use of both SSR's and DACP if you check around :punk:

Thank you Lonewolf0420!!

Terrific links to threads that I was not privvy to because I was in Alaska at the time they were posted. Enjoyed reading the threads and becoming informed.
