Well I haven't found a review for Eagle One WET- Wax-As-U-Dry over here, so I thought I might put in a word for it, since I seem to have found a pretty good use for the stuff.

First things first. I never mustered the guts to spray that stuff on the car's paint, so you won't find a review on that here. :p What I did find out though, is that it protects my wheels very nicely from brake dust.

I've used it on both my BBS and Work wheels with very good results, comparable to hand waxing them. I use Hawke brake pads which generate enough dust to soil freshly detailed wheels in one single stop. Needless to say I needed a solution to help reduce the time I spent waxing the wheels to try and protect them.

Well since I find myself hand-drying my wheels with some older MF's every time I detail the car, I figured why not spray some of that stuff on there... Works like a charm! Impressive water beading, and it fends off brake dust pretty well.. to a point where a strong stream of water gets most of it out. Then I just re-apply the stuff directly and dry the wheels as usual (MF gets a little dirty, make sure it's an old one...). No more time spent than just washing them, don't have to use soap and old wash mitts.

Does it last? NO. Does it matter... not much since I reapply so often. It does smell great while you're working it too. I reach in and do my calipers and visible suspension components at the same time, which seems to help keep those nice and dust-free as well.

If you happen on a bottle of the stuff and feel like trying something different, give it a shot on your wheels... worked very well for me! :xyxthumbs

just yesturday I was wondering if anyone posted a review of this stuff yet....

Sounds good!

I think I just might have to pick up a bottle soon!

Thanks for the review!

I use the stuff to give my cars a DEEP shine after washing. I highly recommend for a HIGH DEEP gloss on any type of paint. On my black Z28 it looks better than after hand waxing. BUT only until you wash it again. It is short term solution for high gloss.

I got some it for free @ hot import nights recently.....to me its almost like quik wax from meg's...not really made for long term and not very tough.

i feel your pain on the rims though, and will have to try that. i have 18 inch painted/polished lip rims WITH hawk HP+ pads, and BOY do they make the dust!!!!!!!! its incredible how much dust they make.

I love using this stuff after washing. It makes my synthetic chamois just glide off the paint and leaves a nice deep shine on top of the p21s.

Its a simple concept EO decided to market. There are a lot of spray shines on the market which work very well with water. What I used to do while working in a dealership as a detailer is spray the spray shine all over the car before drying. It made the water wipe off easier, and it gave the paint a clean slick feel to it. It was the cheese way of cleaning a freshly waxed car that was sitting on the lot for too long before a customer came to pick it up and other reasons.

You could most likely do the same thing with all the other QD's you currently use. Try it, you'll see! :D

Try putting Klasse AIO on your wheels, it will make them much easier to clean and will outlast the EO WAUD. Make your own QD from AIO and water, (it's water soluble) and it will work well to maintain Klassed wheels looking good.
