Just curious, will the EO wadding polish hurt the clear on factory rims? I used to use it on chrome rims back in the day.
 
I use Nevrdull all the time on metal rims, but for the clearcoated I don't risk it. I would tend to believe that it would be harmful for clearcoats, and I would just use a strong wheel cleaner or Mother's Clearcoat Wheel Polish instead.
