Eagle One gone soon?

If true, it's sad and I'm going to the nearest Wal-Mart and buying like 10 bottles of their wheel and tire cleaner. I just used it for the first time a couple weeks ago and was thoroughly impressed.

Valvoline doesn't sell EO products here in Finland any more :( I did what Pennypacker said, bought all the wheel and tire cleaner bottles they had left.

Yeah, I did notice that Eagle One hasn't been as prominent as it was ever since they changed their labels from black to blue. Nowadays, they have less products than before; perhaps because they just can't compete with Meguiar's.

BTW, what's Car Bright? I've never heard of that brand.

Car Brite is more of a professional brand. Maybe if Valvoline is pulling the plug on EO, it's on the pro line, rather than the consumer line?

I sure hope not. There are several EO OTC products that I love. Eagle One Tire Shine, QD, and Tire cleaner are my favs.

Heard from who or what about this rumor?

Anyhow, I don't guess I'd miss them all that much if it were true. I used to love their Tire and Wheel cleaner, but I recently picked up some Turtle Wax Platinum Wheel Cleaner and I actually like it better than E1 now anyway. Plus, it's cheaper and you get more of it!

The only other E1 products I sometimes grabbed for was their leather products and car wash, but there are other locally available products that are just as good, and better anyway.

All in all, I won't really miss 'em... :nixweiss

I've always liked their leather cleaner & conditioner... worked well & nice smell. I always found it interesting that, on the conditioner bottle, they actually recommended that you pour it into your hand & apply it by hand, as rags & sponges wasted too much product.

good stuff...

Is the Turtle Wax cleaner for wheels and tires, too?

Yep, sure is. Here is what the TW website says.... I really like the stuff, considering the TW branding...

Platinum Series®

All Wheel & Tire Cleaner

Thick gel-like formula clings to wheel & tire surfaces to quickly and easily remove brake dust and road grime from all wheels & tires.

Specialty polymer additives help prevent brake dust build-up and make future cleaning easier.

Rinses and dries spot free. No towel drying required.

A high-performance cleaner/protector for coated, aluminum, ABS plastic, mag, wire, anodized and chrome wheels.

Does not contain hydrofluoric or other strong acids that could damage wheels.

^ i also noticed that there is a cardboard tag saying that it out performed the eo1 all wheel & tire cleaner as well as the meguiars hot rims wheel cleaner....

Cool..not to get too off course, but no surprise it's from their Platinum line, which seems to be much more well received than the regular Turtle Wax products. I don't know firsthand because I've never tried any of the Platinum products, but it seems that way.

I like Eagle One All Wheel & Tire Cleaner and I also use their Wet Wipe & Shine. It's a good OTC product that a local grocery/department store carries. I've also use Turtle Wax F21 wheel and tire cleaner and that worked pretty good. It was cheaper and seemed to work pretty well. For the Wet Wipe & Shine, I could just use Meguiar Quik Detailer, but I really prefer EO WW&S.

Eagle One has been under the valvoline flag for awhile now... It's not going anywhere. Car bright is the pro stuff and eagle one is the consumer brand and none of them are going anywhere.

All the companies though are under Ashland
