"Eagle One Concours Tire Dressing and Protectant"

Over the years I like most Autopians have tried numerous tire dressings. I recently went back to using up the last of my Eagle One Concours dressing and find it better than most of my current products.

A quick search shows that Eagle One no longer lists this product in their pro category.

The EO part number was 1084128.

Can anyone tell me what Eagle One's replacement product is for this dressing?

Thanks

Blake, I just checked my current EO pro line catalog; I don't see ANYTHING comparable to what you're referring to. :(

They have a product called "Water Based Dressing" and I wonder if that is the closest product. If my memory serves me right David B used to use EO Concours.

I love the water-based dressing in the pro-line. I do think that it is higher gloss than the concours, but it has been years since I last used it.

Where are you getting the catalog for EO pro products? I have never seen them listed online is there a link you or somebody could provide?

Judging by their scale, the "Non-Silicone Solvent Dressing" is the lowest gloss dressing they make. "Perfect for Today's Body Shop environment or dealerships that are near body shops. Safe for tires, engines, interiors, and plastic. Spray or wipe application produces rich, black, high gloss shine."

On a gloss scale of 1-5 it is rated 2.5, whereas the water based dressing is 3.5.

I got mine with the last order I placed to Sparkle Auto (sparkleauto.com) along with the Meguiar's Professional catalog and SA's own catalog (lists all the sprayway lineup, among other things).

Blake. I know your pain, this was the best tire dressing I have used. I've only got one bottle left now.

I remeber a few years ago when this product was discontinued, that an EO rep reported (in this forum) that the 'Protectant' product was the same. I have not used it as it is not imported to Australia, but maybe you should give it a shot.

I will make a trek to the Street Rod Nationals again this year and there's usually most of the Pro Line available there. I guess I'll see what their reps recommend.

This stuff just doesn't sling and seems to last very well without a ton of gloss.

The Eagle One Concours dressing is awesome. I wish I had another bottle. I think I'll be lucky to make it through the year with what I have left. Here are some pictures of this dressing on my Mustang.

Not sure what you mean... that's kind of the point to the "satin" finish of this particular dressing. Gives a nice black non-glossy finish... in my opinion anyway. Just wanted to put up a few examples of this product so others could maybe chime in and suggest products that may produce similar results.
