Eagle One All Wheel & Tire Cleaner.......

Luster

COMPULSIVELY ANAL
This product has been my #1 choice for wheels for a couple years now.

I think it's the best.

Here's the story - - - My son drove his white Camaro on an 8-hour road trip this weekend. When he got home, the front end was just LOADED with bug-juice. I washed the car for him and did the wheels (which were covered with brake dust) with my usual EO/All Wheel.

Looked great.... EXCEPT for the bug stains. Those bug stains were so bad that I couldn't even scrub them off.

Idea - - - Use EO/AWC on the bugs! Clearcoat safe, non-acidic, will not harm paint....... OH MY GOSH. The bug stains literally melted away, leaving the paint on the front bumper cleaner than it's ever been.

Fresh coat of Zaino on the front bumper and it looks like new.

(BTW, I called my local EO rep and he said that there should be no bad effects from using it on paint. After all, it's recommended for clearcoated wheels. )

Bill

I wonder what the long term effects would be on the paint for regular use?

Oh and next time get your son out there to help!! :clown:

yep! its awesome! i actually used to like using it on my mini coopers plastic trim prior to a full detail...it does a great job of cleaning it and taking out any wax or polish stains u might have. just dont ever let it sit for too long either.

on a slight confessional note: i once got mad at these kids parents for their kids egging my mini cooper and they not addressing the problem that i sought out revenge and spray some a2z on their hood of the car while passing by at night. the stain still appears to be there so like i said, dont let it dwell.

I congratulate you, you're a lucky guy to know who egged your car and be able to get revenge. Mine gets done (along with the whole neighborhood's cars) every month or so, if I found those kids they'd have some problems :chair:  :gun_banda  .

That was my concern for the clear coat on the painted areas...I know that its safe for rims that are clear coated, but I would guess that rims have a harder clear that paint...this is just a guess but seems that way to me when I work on them

becareful. holloween is right around the corner and all the 6th and 7th graders go out and seek fun with some eggs. my car will stay in the garage that night.

u're right. atleast i think u're right. wheels clearcoat is much harder from what i can tell and a2z on a clearcoated car may be fine but if not properly rinsed off u can expect bad conditions thru time.

Yeah, it was only on there for about 20 seconds. This won't be my regular practice. But those were some stubborn bug-corpses!

The kids in my Neighborhood know me pretty well, they wouldn't dare to do that. I really think it's my friends that egg my car but I don't know for sure.

My friends are a$$holes, they do lots of crap like that, I'm not sure if it's them, just a hunch.

Is this the Orange old version bottle or new blue/silver version?

What I used was the old version (A2Z) in the orange spray bottle. My understanding from the EO rep, it's the same exact product. In fact, I think the new bottle states "Same great product, Updated packaging". Something like that.

(I want to emphasize here, that the product was only on the front bumper for 20-30 seconds)....

i think the only difference is that it has a different spray nozzle that allows the product to turn into foam.

just for reference the bottle i used on the neighbors paint was the orange one.
